It is a Sunday night and I am getting ready to go to bed. It has been a busy day. I had church, then interviews, presidency meeting, hometeaching, and some serious flirting.(I actually made some peach milkshake to help them see that I am not just good looks and wit :) I am grateful for the oppurtunities that are constantly being thrown my way. Oppurtunities to serve, to help, to learn, to laugh, to think, to cry, to improve, etc... Life is good!!!!!!!

Life IS good, Addie. It's even better when you've got yourself a good woman . . . :)

But seriously, sometimes it's easy to dwell on what you DON'T have in life, and then you miss what you do have. During my single years at BYU (which were basically all of my years there), my days were filled with a deep longing to have a relationship with that special someone, and with frustration that it hadn't happened yet.

But now I look back with a great deal of nostalgia for the friends and the fun and the freedom. Not that I'd ever want to go back, but in retrospect, it was a lot better than I gave it credit for.

So keep enjoying life, Addie!

Live it up, Addie! You do have so many great opportunities and experiences now, as well as ahead of you. You are becoming a very great man. Or a "big man", as Drew would say. And that woman Mark talked about is going to be one lucky lady!

BUT have so much fun dating and enjoying life in the mean time. All of that will happen at just the right time for you. Ty teases me about how long he had to wait for me and why I had to go on a mission and date all of those lame guys first...but I needed all of those experiences and Ty needed all of the experiences he had for us to be as happy and compatible as we are now. I wouldn't change a thing. And I enjoyed my single time to the fullest - I felt like that was important. I felt whole on my own, not like I was looking for someone to complete me.

Anyway, you probably don't want to hear all of this. What I'm saying is keep it up. We here in the Washington Foster Family think you are great! Have fun, work hard, and live it up!

Addie, so profound!! As I always have said to you, "Adam...you are a good man!" Now all we have to do is to get the ladies to see that and do something about it.

Don't be sitting your tail down on Friday and Saturday night. Go do a little trolling for some BYU ladies.

Love ya Bud and whomever is meant for you out there will know that you are the man, once she meets you. (Peach milkshakes are a very, very good way to show that!!)
